UNBELIEVABLE
author: ANTONIO MARIA RIVERO ESPADAS
People must be deaf. I bought this vinyl 22 years ago and I still today make the same question to myself: What does this incredible woman have that makes her so very special? An incredible talent. And she´s unique, her music is only HERS, no one makes music the way she does. I´m astonished after countless listenings to these album, and that´s quite a statement. I highly recommend also "Been in the streets so long" -only available in vinyl-, a sort of rarities compilation. By the way, her last CD, "31:31", is a real masterpiece. Thanks a lot, and best regards!

Même après plus de 20 années, cette musique est toujours aussi innovante. Merci. A quand la réédition CD de "I'm the one"?

Annette Peacock is a master of songwriting, and this is one of her greatest recordings, full of interesting new ways to hear the standard nuts and bolts of showtunes, modern without being "modern"....this has been out of print for ages, thank God someone saw sense!

Great, thought-provoking music from a longtime innovator
author: Alan Siegel
This cd is extremely entertaining and innovative. Both musically and lyrically it evokes a sense of the surreal. It left me in a trance. Tune to tune the flow is seamless. If you have never experienced Annette Peacock, this cd or "Abstract Contact", (also available at CDBaby) will serve as a great introduction to an invaluable contributor to the art of great musicmaking and musicianship..
