This is the father and son duo of Eddie and Alonzo Pennington. Both National thumbpicking champs. Eddie is also a National Hertiage Fellowship recipient. The two have traveled the country bringing traditional Western Kentucky thumbpicking to the world. This is the first album they have done together. If I didn't know Eddie and Alonzo I'd say these guys are amazing ... but since I do know these guys and how amazing they are I'm going to tell you that this is the way I've wanted to hear them recorded. Style, tone and energy ... it's all there making for one great set tunes. Read more...
