Apollo Project produces songs by crossover composer
A. Paul Johnson. These pieces span the gamut from full orchestral symphonic works to pop, jazz, and rap songs. Many of the artists performing develop their styles in Apollo Project studios and live venues. Collaborations with many international ensembles from Europe and South America.
Johnson has been awarded project grants by many prestigeous organizations like the National Endowment for the Arts, National Institute for Music Theatre at the Kennedy Center, Meet-the-Composer, and multiple awards from the Florida Arts Council.
This music is very unique and different, elements of broad classical structure are intertwined with contemporary and spontaneous aspects of pop, rock and world musical culture.
