Album Notes

The Apprentice is an indie/ folk rock band from the U.S.A. The three members of The Apprentice Matt Helfrich, Matt Jenkins, and Eric DeLong are joined together by music despite living in three different states (IN, KY, WV). The new self-titled album is the band’s fourth release on Future Destination Records.
This album represents a new start and is by far the most collaborative effort out of the bands discography. To further the change it is also intensely personal both sonically, and lyrically. The band entered 3 Elliot Studios on May 6 to record with a new producer/engineer named Josh Antonnucio. Many of the tracks were recorded live, another new experience for the band. What came out was a beautifully orchestrated album of unforced expression covering faith, murder, heartbreak, and hope.
