Album Notes

Fashioning a blend of blues, jazz, and just enough pop...Apartment Three carves out a sound that puts a smile on the face.

Impossible to pigeonhole, this foursome owes debts to many influences, from the Dead and Dylan to the more modern sounds of Blues Traveler. This group revels in adventurous tempos and rhythms, as in Lead You Blind, the opening cut. Its intro uses a little troubadour guitar strum that gives way to an organ-backed shuffling run...

Castagnetti's drumming is fluid and versatile, while guitarists Dan Macmillan and Nik Chisholm display ample acoustic and electric chops. Macmillan and Chisholm also trade lead vocals with a certain hippie-like falsetto recalling the late Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon. --The Boston Globe

Apartment 3
author: George
Apartment Three blends The Dead and Dylan perfectly. The lyrics are prefectly put on top of the music that flows so great against the lyrics it's like the lyrics become part of the music, like all lyrics should, but Apartment Three does it perfectly. From the sounds of The Dead and Dylan to Phish, Dave Matthews, and Blues Traveller, Apartment Three will take you on a funky road trip through time with their bluesie songs and outstanding lyrics. i suggest you buy this album.
