Ara was born in a small town in Pennsylvania. Coming from a long line of engineers and composers, the world of sound and engineering collided when she started singing at very young age and acquired her first multitrack recorder. She started making music and performing publicly in high school. After winning countless local talent competitions and earning two degrees from Kutztown University, she set out to take her vocal mastery and her amazing electronic compositions out into the world. She quickly climbed to a national level touring on the collegiate circuit. Ara continues mesmerize audiences with her sultry voice, her enchanting originals and her playful disposition. With influences such as, Sarah McLachlan, Dido, Sade, Eurythmics, Alicia Keyes, Depeche Mode, Madonna, Sting ,Lisa Gerard-Dead Can Dance, Bjork, Enigma, Tiesto, David Vendetta, Motorcycle, Delerium, Conjure One, Alabina, Despina Vandi Gabriel and Dresden.
