The best thing I can say about this CD is that I hope it is the beginning of something. The lyrics are borne of contemplation and set to music that sweetly uses modern techniques to carry the weight and dignity of his meditations. I love it when an artist like Adam Randall exposes himself and allows the raw man to be seen. I believe we see the real Adam Randall in this work - particularly in Bodies and Souls Were Meant to Be Together. My only criticism is that I am not sure what is at the "center" of the CD as a whole - I assume future CDs may answer that question. I recommend the CD for anybody who would be likely to meditate on the meaning of the unity of Body and Soul!

Look, Adam Randall is a personal friend of mine, so you might think my review is biased. You would be right, if I were just your average friend, but I’m jack@$% friend, the kind who really lets you know how they feel about things. This puts a strain on my marriage, but brings my friendships to new depths of deeps. This is not a review of my friendship style, but I want you to trust me when I say buy this CD, you will enjoy it. Give it this Christmas to the music hound in your family. Watch people fight over it at the White Elephant party. “Moment”, “Bodies and Souls”, “Casualties in a War” will all give you various sizes of goosebumps. In a “you get what you pay for world”, this album gives you dividends far beyond the affordable price. Cheers Adam and the band, you guys have stood the test of time, the only rut in your music are the lines burned on my cds from hours of play. Thanks.

I loved the CD from the first listen. The songs are each disinct in their tone and message, yet the album has a fluency to it. The lyrics are insightful, vulnerable and full of truth. A destined classic.

this is a fantastic album... great songwriting, challenging lyrics, beautiful arrangements. this album is certainly not one dimensional, and you'll hear something new each time you listen. i highly recommend this album, especially to fans of artists like Sufjan Stevens, Damien Jurado, Denison Witmer and the like.
