Album Notes

Arashk's second album, Sovereign, has now played around with oriental mood in instrumental progressive metal.

Ferdowsi's Shahnameh (The Epic of Kings) has been the main motive behind the musical lines of this album. This legend alike others is an excuse... An excuse to outline esoteric ideas in the form of Story. As Jean Cocteau put it, “History consists of truths which in the end turn into lies, while myth consists of lies which finally turn into truths.”
