ARCHER is a heavyweight power trio hailing from Santa Cruz, CA. Dylan 23 (Guitar and vocals), Isaiah 24 (Bass and vocals) and Duke T McB 23 (Drums) complete an intense hard rock/metal band whose music reaches far beyond its years. They are the total package, holding each member to high standards in true rock trio tradition. Lighting the way for a new movement that honors the past, ARCHER seeks to bring the classic sound of American hard rock/heavy metal back to the forefront. Over the last several months they have had the privilege of playing venues both around the U.S. and internationally as they’ve shared bills with countless legendary acts such as Heaven and Hell, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Heart, Blue Oyster Cult, Tesla, and Testament. This band prides itself on songwriting, musicianship, and stage performance.
DYLAN....Guitar and Lead Vocals
Dylan carries his guitar and vocal duties with a passion. His musings across the fretboard confound and entertain, as he cites important influences such as Randy Rhoads, Tony Iommi, Eddie Van Halen, and Zakk Wylde. He wears his allegiance to the all time greats of guitar on his sleeve, and his passionate singing lets the audience know that he means what he says. It is truly a wonder to see him weave his talented playing and singing into a singular act.
ISAIAH...Bass and Vocals
Isaiah is the bass player of the new millennium. With no formal training and no reservations, he simply plays with his heart and soul, which makes for a formidable cornerstone in any genre of music. Influences such as Cliff Burton (Metallica), Rex Brown (Pantera), and Fat Mike (NOFX) let the world know Isaiah's credible repertoire. As part of Archer, Isaiah knows his role in keeping the energy going onstage while maintaining a musical balance for the group. He's crazy and random, yet deep and intuitive. He'll buy you a drink and ask for nothing in return but if you give him an inch, he'll take a mile. Watch out for this four-stringin' firestorm in the years to come.
DUKE T Mc B....Drums
Duke; the one, the only, the rock'n'roll royalty. This bad man is one of the hottest drummers the globe has to offer. Settling for second to none, his biggest influences have always been the likes of Buddy Rich and John Bonham. Whether he's behind the drum kit or pumping iron, Duke is always setting the standard for excellence. This exceptional human being’s chops and biceps can only be eclipsed by his own ego. The bottom line is simply this - don't mess with the best!
A combination of skilled songwriting, technical command and pure intensity, ARCHER will bring their brand of rock and roll to the stage with an intensity that’s sure to bring crowds to frenzy with fists in the air!!

Ein Ausnahme Album von einer Ausnahmeband...

ARCHER " DOOM$DAY PROFIT$ "

author: ALTERNATIVE ROCK PRESS
Doomsday Profits , Archers first full ength CD is long over due and Im sure the Arrowheads of the world are glad to have a new pallete of Uncharted Metal Turf to devour endlessy, as these tunes dont get old. But even more important is that this CD Rises to the top of the pile of crap on the radio and shines through like a Diamond in a Goats ass. Anyone with a ounce of sense or taste will tell you that the state of music has come to a crawl, effortless drones of mediocre noise and nonsense has clogged the airwaves for way to long. Enter ARCHER - Imagine walking through darkness and coming across an enchanted land were Life is seen with new Eyes, Eyes of mystery and truth. You hear voices chanting in melody against a Mile High Wall of Undiscovered Classic Guitar Licks weaving in and out of the Thunder of the Gods like a leaf in a Hurricane. There are 11 Songs on this CD,any of which could easily find themslves on any Rock Radio Station with the balls to go against the current trend of playing heartless drones and whiney chick songs that make the Archies sound cutting edge. 5 of them have the potential to become Cornerstones for The Future of Classic Rock. Imagine Led Zeppelin, Guns and Roses, Nirvana, Van Halen and Metallica all rolled up into a 3 piece band on fire, Just listen to the songs and you will agree, ARCHER IS HERE TO STAY!
