"The Long Road" is the second release from acoustic Blues/Americana artist Aric Riley. Produced by renowned Blues artist and Producer Terry Robb, well-known for his production on numerous John Fahey records, this recording features 10 original tunes and three traditional songs.

In addition to the solo efforts on the album, Aric is joined by Terry Robb (bottleneck guitar), Jesse Withers (upright bass) and Katey Angel (bass) on a number of tracks.

Much improved...

Aric has released his second album, and I liked this album even more than his first. The main reason is that Aric can write a catchy song, so he didn't rely as much on covers for this album. Aric has done a nice job of mixing more modern music ideas while never forgetting that his music comes from legends like Mississippi John Hurt. Very worthy purchase!
