Album Notes

Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, but it's in NY that ARIEL has established a reputation as a charismatic frontman with a unique voice. An eclectic songwriter whose previous bands have blended punk, funk, alternative, reggae & Latin. Now with his solo work, he continues to crossbreed genres to kick out HIS pop recipes.

ALL I WANTED is his second release( his first solo record). Essentially, it's a singer/songwriter album with a lot of stuff thrown in - loops, samples, live drums, horns, violins (by Tracy Bonham), congas, and lots of guitars. ENJOY.

REVIEWS

refreshing and good - it makes me happy.

There is an intrinsic joy to this music, making it good for wandering, dancing, and everything in between. The songs have a way of morphing with repeated listenings, and unfolding new meanings both within themselves and in the mind of the listener. The lyrics tell of a story common to us all, but in a voice only few are fortunate to have. Share this art abundantly with others and let the happiness overflow.
