**Le sigh**

This CD calls for a glass of red wine and dancing alone in your living room in something satin (ok, or maybe with someone else ::wink::) Seriously, a very pleasing and sexy CD. I highly recommend it!

Slinky sultry seductive splendor.....

Ohmigosh I simply adore this cd, and can't gush enough about it! It's absolutely exquisite, with the most gorgeous warm sunny vocals that curl and sway and dip and entwine around your heart, in the most refreshing way. Lush instruments, deep cello swells, delicate yet intricate guitar layered, this is fresh and new and old at the same time, ancient knowingness and a familiarity in the sage wisdom seeping out, but in the most enticing way that makes you actually bolt up and listen earnestly, intently, and eagerly....hungrily.....happily.....I have literally thousands of cds of all sorts in my collection and am an avid collector of a huge variety of styles and this consistently is in rotation, what can I say, it makes my ears smile!
The mellow melodies linger sweetly and the intoxicating lyrics pull you in deeply is the best way that I can put it. I get such strong visuals dancing about in my mind when I listen to this....dark empty alleyways and footsteps approaching around the corner on the slick pavement....a cool lush swamp earthy green damp and a warm hand gently touches a shoulder and a shiver travels upwards on an arched spine....a black cat slinking down blue concrete steps in the sun, gently padding into the shadows....the ocean waves moving against the rocks, a hand shading from the bright sun sparkling as eyes gaze towards the horizon, feet stepping in wet sand......a gauzy white curtain flutters in the breeze of an open window in a room with a velvet couch and satin jeweled blanket draped on the edge, candles flickering in the breeze.... It feels like coming home. A reunion. An embrace. Just listening to some of the sound clips should get you hooked so you can understand what I'm saying, although to truly appreciate this you do need to hear it from start to finish and to savor every moment along the way. INCREDIBLE!!!!

"All These Wounds" is Classic
author: Briana Meadows
I saw Arin live in Alameda, CA earlier this year and was really impressed by her four-song set. So much so, in fact, I spent $16 (almost begrudgingly) on "All These Wounds."
Months later I am still grateful that I bought the album; "All These Wounds" is rarely out of my cd player for more than a week before I pop it back in again. It's one of those classics I just don't get tired of.
