Album Notes
Arioc is a 5 person progressive metal band from York, Pennsylvania formed in mid 2009. With talented musicians willing to push their skills to the limit and not settle for a mainstream sound, Arioc is able to write exciting and technical songs filled with odd time signatures, tempo changes, heavy guitar riffs, melodic keyboard lines, and deep emotional lyrics. Fans of Dream Theater, Opeth, Symphony X, Ayreon, Between the Buried and Me, and other progressive rock bands that have influenced their writing will find Arioc to fit their unique tastes of the outlandish progressive rock genre.

"Symphony of Demise" marks the first official release Arioc has put together in their career and features three of their current fan favorites. A New Beginning is a 9-min ride through an epic intro, a set of amazing chorus vocals, and complicated instrumental sections ending in a mosh-worthy headbanging breakdown outro. White Walls showcases Arioc's melodic writing as a slower ballad, more radio and pop-listener friendly than the rest of their tracks on the album. Lastly, Symphony of Demise takes listeners on a 5-part journey into the world of clowns and midways (and a crazy madman trying to trap his audience with his own composed music!). Symphony of Demise brings forth the heavier side of Arioc with plenty of rhythmic guitar riffs and a similar number of changing time signatures and tempos. You will not be disappointed with the madness that is Arioc!

Great Songs by a Great Band
If you enjoy progressive metal, you will definitely enjoy this album. Although short, for the debut album of the band Arioc it is very well done. No complaints as to the quality or complexity of the music. Buy this to support the band and hear some awesome new music!
