I always like Arlene's music when I saw her and the band at events in Toronto, but that this CD would be quite such a tour de force exceeded my expectations. The first track in particular should be on the radio everywhere. The CD is clever, mature, well done, and musically hot throughout. Snarky don't get better than this!

From Canada, where politically moderate but personally blunt attitudes are plentiful, I expected constructively outspoken creativity, and I was not disappointed. If I weren't a perfectionist, I'd give this CD 4 stars instead of 3, and the live comedic monologue at the end is a big bonus.
