Album Notes

Arman Bohn is a musician/film maker that previously fronted the band Eureka Farm (known for a time as Shed). After two records (Analog, The View), the group disbanded leaving Bohn to pursue film making, travel and a degree in Physics. His former band mates (Harmer, Gibbard, McGerr) now play in the band Death Cab for Cutie.

Bits is a collection of melodic electronic/indie rock songs that marks the first full length album from Arman Bohn. The album covers a wide range of styles and moods - from the hook laden guitar pop of “Kaboom!”, the ethereal S.O.S. beacon of “Atlantis”, and the simple acoustic phrasing of “Breakaway”.

Bits weaves a loose story from tales of childlike optimism fighting for space against uneven odds. Personal observations about love and life get mixed up with war, Atari cartridges, and the scientific method … all presented against a backdrop of lush synthesizers and layers of counterpoint driven guitars.
