Album Notes

Combining the textures of electronics with the aesthetics of classical and archaic stylings, René fashions a style all his own. Both visually evocative yet emotionally haunting, his music speaks to the listener of tales of olde and memories yet unborn. Classically trained at the piano, his musical voices span a much wider palette. With hints of Celtic, Tribal and Medieval influences, René's music is not true to any one style, but is a melding of many that has an uncanny familiarity to it. Opening the mind and heart to a cinematic journey of the soul.

In his own words:
"Ever since I can remember, music has always conjured up a wealth of vibrant images and emotions, stirring my imagination to weave new stories and chart old tales. The joy of such experiences inspires me to create the same in my own music. Seeking to carry the listener on their own magical journey, in sincere hopes that a familiar dream will awaken and allow those moments of Everwhen to unfold, again . . . and again."

"We all have stories in our heart - of memories lost and dreams remembered. A glimmer of unshakable familiarity that speaks to our very essence. Music can be the gateway to experiencing these fleeting flights of re-memory. The casting of a veil, within which the soul can weave and dance the tales awakening in our hearts."
