Melodic Power Metal
4.5 stars. I was a bit surprised to see that Steel Attack was not listed as one of their primary influences. To my ears there is a distinct Steel Attack sound to the guitar work, especially from their album "Fall Into Madness"; of course, the Iron Maiden and Hammerfall influences are noticeable as well. All in all I am very pleased with this remastered version of their debut album. The speedier songs are so well executed that I actually wish they had left off the balladesque "Forever Triumphant." These guys have too much talent to be lying back and taking it slow. The epic title track (13:46) is lengthy but also frequently brilliant with shifts in tempo never going down beyond mid-tempo. Their cover of Iron Maiden's "Flight of Icarus" is a notable addition, as well. Highly recommended.

This is actually a re-recorded version of their 2004 album, not a remastered version of said release. Buy this album now!!!

Metal Is Back
Brilliant dual guitars and driving bass not seen since the glory days of Iron Maiden. Fantastic and intelligent lyrical and engaging content. A must album for true metal lovers. Highly recommended and a permenant part of the Twisted Hillbilly Magazine music catalog!!

Thrilled with this album!
Had a message to go check Armory out on their MySpace page and, being a good metal fan, I did. All the tracks I listened to on their MS page sounded great to me, so I came over to CD Baby and ordered myself the album. I love the old school sound...this is the type of metal and music I love and cherish. =)
