A native Venezuelan, Arnaly is a singer, composer, arranger, percussionist and pianist based in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Whether playing with her band, in solo performance, or in partnership with other musicians, Arnaly emphasizes textural variety, energetic yet intelligent improvisation, and a creative sense of rhythm. The result is an intensely personal music that has proven to have unusually broad appeal and has let her develop a strong reputation both within the Latin-Brazilian community and among musicians and audiences that would not otherwise claim an interest in Latin music.
As a musician, she attributes her multi-cultural approach to the "roots" she had in her Venezuelan community plus the cultural mixture she discovered when she lived in Montreal.
