In a break from his usual moniker, the A.R.C. is listed on our 9th 2004 Cycle release by his full name: the andrewrollercoaster. This means a slight variation from his established sound, and signals a break from the attempt at dancefloor annihilation that was August. On September, the andrewrollercoaster plays extended percussive pieces with layers of effects and distortion, as well as other crazy sounds. He also resurrects the improvisation trend, submitting two tracks completely improvised and others that were composed then played using live instrumentation. This is a significant change in direction for the andrewrollercoaster, and forecasts a different sound to come.
