Album Notes

The music is inspired by the struggle of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia. It is a fusion of African American jazz idioms with tonal and rhythmic idioms from Black Australian contemporary and traditional music. Several tracks are part of the original music score created for the documentary video Moving with the Dreaming produced by Harmony Image Productions.
