ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Johnny Arsin, born in Buford GA, located in Gwinnett County, started his rap career in 1995, as a member of the underground rap group, The Burn Unit. Johnny began his journey to mark his place in Hip Hop history. Fascinated by his love of music and the Hip Hop art form, he wanted to be more than just an artist, so he focused on lyrics. Hoping that something he said could make a difference or inspire someone’s life, like the music he listened to did for him. After the success of their first album release, The Takeover, the group took a break and he ventured into his solo career. Making album after album, mixtape after mixtape, homing the skills to his craft. Performing at any place with a mic, to the most popular local spots like Wild Bills, he lives to get on stage and share his energy and talents with the world. While at the same time, opening doors for so much more talent from his hometown in north metro Atlanta. Johnny Arsin is now poised to stamp that mark of Hip Hop greatness with the official release of his next album, My Pen N Pad, the follow up, Hard Times And Headaches, and the re-release of his first offering, The Rough Draft. He has already carved his name as one of the local greats and mixtape legends with his uncanny delivery, powerful wordplay and strong emotion. He is an artist with the perfect blend of street and everyday life, with a sound that’s known to appeal to the industry and all audiences. Listening to his music you have no choice but to relate as he makes his words form portraits and motion pictures. Inspired by the greats before him Johnny Arsin hopes to be mentioned as one of them, once he and his time has passed from this life.
