In 1987 Baird Hersey, Tommy Guralnick and Bill Bacon came together to form. Artificial Intelligence. They each brought their broad individual musical histories to the band. Their music was an innovative blend of pop, rock, avant garde jazz, world music and muisque concret with a political point of view. This is there only recording.

Baird Hersey: lead singer, played guitar, and synthesizers, and did computer sequencing.

Tommy Guralnick played soprano and tenor saxophones, and shaped their sound electronically and with an array of ‘mutes’ that he constructed himself as a part of his “Mobile Saxophone Unit”

Bill Bacon : electronic drum pads firing; a drum machine, sound samples and noise gates revealing short sections of tape loops.
