Artist Proof’s debut EP Creatures of the Night is a sprawling epic through a rich musical landscape. Combining operatic, bold, emotive and sometimes ethereal sonic layers, the band have produced an original sound rich in emotional depth and heavy with aural drama.
Chris and Drew took their unique sound into Secret Location Studios where they collaborated with sound engineer and producer Paul Maybury who has previously worked with bands such as The Bowers and Rocket Science. Paul’s music knowledge and finely tuned ear helped Artist Proof to hone their songs and create a mini album that truly represents the bands musical aesthetic.
From big string introductions, to soaring vocals, to nostalgic dreams, to lamentations for those lost, to pronouncements of undying love, Creatures of the Night has diverse and contrasting musical directions while producing a sound that can only be characterized as quintessentially Artist Proof.
