Flutist/composer Christian Artmann and pianist/composer Philippine Duchateau plays wonderfully together on their original compositions. Both their musicianship and their writing are impressive. They are truly in tune with each other and finish each other's musical sentences. Philippine and Christian have blended very well European classical music elements with jazz language and they came up with a distinct music of their own. The sound quality of the recording is excellent as well. The CD makes for a pleasant and relaxing listening that would help you wind down even after the most difficult day.
