Hi, I’m Art Paul Schloser and here I am writing the notes for another CD. This CD I did for the RPM challenge. If you have been studying my recent CDs you will know that Jim Anderson is a friend of mine. Jim has contributed to both my Art Paul Schlosser {The Tribute}CD and Art Paul {The Remix Project}CD and me and Jim did a CD together called It’s Takes A Whole World. So last year(2008) when I was doing February Album Writing Month and Jim told me about how he was doing the RPM challenge, I kind of wanted to be doing that one too. However since I was already committed to FAWM.org and I really wanted to show I could do that one first well I waited. So then this year(2009) I thought since I did already accomplished FAWM.org I thought I would try the RPM challenge. So here it is 10 songs plus one that I wrote in February. A special I should mention is this is the first CD that I use more than one vocal track for myself. Both Popcorn and Wookie Love have me singing with myself. This CD is dedicated to all my friends in Madison and Wisconsin area including not only Jim Anderson who inspired this CD but also Robert Monthey who recorded this in my apartment using a 4 Track. Also I dedicate it to my 2 sisters and all my relatives as well as former St. Paul prayer group members. I also should mention all my friends on State street and at the night clubs and Priest, Minister and Pastor that I have been friends with. Thanks everyone and I hope to see you on State street or at an Open Mic real soon.
