Album Notes

This album is a love song to the earth sung with humor, tenderness and conscience. It contains Art's only recorded instrumental to date, "From Where I Stood". Among the fifteen original compositions is a love song or two and a childrens song about eating blue food. "There Was A Butterfly" tells the true story of a butterfly who lived in a redwood tree despite pressure from squirrels to get down. "Mean Creature Blues" was inspired by a conversation among some eight-year-old boys concerning what was the meanest creature that ever lived. "I Joined The NRA By Mistake" is a tribute to Charlton Heston. If you dig reggae, you'll dig "They're Digging a Hole".
What the critics have to say: "This guy is equal to two Beatles!" - Lynda Sirota
