Album Notes

Mood Ring was recorded in New York City, in 1998 and 1999, the first collaboration between jeff Arundel and the legendary Charley Drayton, bassist for Keith Richards and drummer for the B52's among others. JA and CD cooked up their own brand of "organi-funk" (Don't believe, Fleetwood) and added some sadness (girl, that sound) and some acousti-rock (know what I know, someday). Drenched in Vibe, Mood Ring makes Billboard magazine say:
"If there was a Lillith Fair for men, Arundel would be a star attraction".......

Runs rings round most other albums

Driving into danger with our arms locked around the wheel/Gasoline on intentions makes the danger real. This is not Jeff Arundels strongest album.But that's a relative statement,cause compared to a LOT of music out there,this is deep,heartfelt,raw and soulful,but lacking in the palpable emotion of his masterpiece which is Ride The Ride. Nevertheless if you want my advice - buy it.
