author: AmandaThis cd is awesome! Great find. Arvin Scott's music is worth much more than what you pay for it. I wasn't sure if I would like an entire cd with just drums, but one listen and you're hooked:)

author: James PippinAs I listened to Dr. Scott's CD, I closed my eyes and saw colors of the rainbow. Each arrangement was masterly constructed like a carpenter making a house built for a King. I can't wait for Dr. Scott's next CD.
The title fits the CD; I heard you talking Arvin.
author: Victor M. MoralesIf you have ever played in a drum circle, you realize that you are communicating with the other members by what you contribute to the circle; Arvin had a lot to say and I enjoyed hearing all his different voices.
"Drum Voices" Calls to Everyone!
author: Betsy RichwineDrum Voices is a superb follow-up to Arvin Scott's previous album, Spirit of the Drum. His new album is a rich tapestry of sounds and rhythms that appeals to everyone. Select a track to match your mood because Scott captures the essence of many human emotions. One can't help but grin as the ear experiences a variety of percussive instruments. By the end of Drum Voices, no one will doubt that Scott's hands are musical magicians.
The Medicine Man Strikes Again!
author: Lilli Lewis"Drum Voices" is a masterpiece! Both primal and ethereal, this volume paints a stunning portrait of percussion and its many colors. From the funk flavored title track to a flute collaboration ("Syncronicity") that tells us what Debussy might have sounded like were he writing for Alvin Ailey instead of Nijinsky. Moreover, it is doubtful that these sounds could have been recorded more beautifully. From the tribal to the transcendental, these compositions are the product of the most sophisticated of minds and the warmest of spirits.
