After first hearing it, the chorus was so brilliantly written, it stuck in my head for days…it’s a very catchy tune! Lockless Heart is a signature song Aryn! Shake Me Uplifting, positive, and happy!!!!!!!!! The opening guitar and keyboards set the mood for this high energy song! Aryn's vocals are the perfect compliment to this beautiful piece. Heart on a String Aryn, I 'm slowly discovering just how versatile you are as an artist and you are simply blowing me away! What a great song! It's absolutely infectious! The opening is nicely balanced [instrumentally speaking] and I thought the phrasing was brilliant Aryn! Why? Well, you repeated your musical phrases often enough for a listener to remember; but, not so much that you would bore them...and that can be a fine line to draw! PLUS, your lyrical phrases worked perfectly with your musical phrases! The transitions to the chorus were superb and the bridge really took “Heart on a String” to another level! I thought the violin worked beautifully; the simple injection of the snare drum was a great addition; and the synthesized percussion that sounded like it was being fed through a phase shifter added a very nice touch! Last but not least Aryn, the message of the song is something that so many of us can relate to... City Life What a great beat and it fits nicely with the lyrics and meaning of the song.
