Well, well, this is it! The lyrics were masterly crafted and the songs superbly rendered. I browse cdbaby website from time to time to check on the latest albums from Nigeria. I did not hesitate to purchase a copy of Isese L'agba having been looking for an item of that nature for a long time. Since I got delivery of the album, it's been non-stop playing at home, in my car and in the office.
Coming from Ifa background myself, though far away from home now(grandfather was an Ifa Priest), I'm enthused by Asabiose's artistic prowess in traditional praise-singing. She will and should go far with this kind of musical genre.
I look forward to the video recordings of some of the tracks which should include track 10.
Thank you Asabioje and all those who made the production possible.

The chants and rhythms are hypnotic. I wish there were more liner notes. It would be good to see the Yoruba words and an English translation.
It would also be helpful to explain the tonal qualities that Asabioje uses in her delivery. I wonder if it is more than the tones that are used for speech?
Overall. Very fine. I hope to hear more from her.
