Good Stuff

This is a really good cd. I would encourage anyone to get it. The artist is very real and raw, great vibe. I guess I would describe as reflective worship with a an edge. The authenticity of the artist drives the music and the message. Good stuff for sure.

Reflective and Honest

Jasen Ashdown's latest work is by far his best to date. Crafting songs that are at the same time reflective and forward-hoping, Ashdown speaks honestly about life, failure, and faith. In a day of sicky-sweet "worship" music, Ashdown offers an alternative that draws from personal pain and raw honesty. That seems to be a good starting place for real worship.
