The first release from the Asher Kahn Band. A compilation of songs written between 1998 and 2001. It reflects the band's transitions and turmoil while breaking up and then re-forming. The band is a Northeast favorite, playing in clubs in NYC, Philadelphia, colleges and anywhere anyone will let them plug in.

The Asher Kahn Band met while attending Penn State University. Originally all three members played in a college band named Catfish Soup. Asher, Aaron and Mike re-organized in the summer of 1999 and formed the Asher Kahn Band. Drawing on their three musical personalities, the AKB plays an explosive brand of kick-ass rock and roll.

    "Deeznuts" agreement with "Holycrap" is right. AKB is an excellent sound and if you happen to see them live, also an excellent experience. Can wait for CD 2

    Asher Kahn Band's CONTENT is AWESOME! I am already craving the taste of their next release (and the bass player). Its the kind of music that makes you want to get up in the morning. I wake up to this CD every morning and bring it with me in the car!

    This CD is great. I had only seen you guys once, but I liked what I heard so I picked it up. It was the best decision I ever made. This disc never leaves my player. Great mix of tunes, all done with style. Keep 'em comin'...I want more!

Something to Hold is for sure one of the best funky rock tunes ever written. Such great feel good music is displayed on CONTENT, check it out!
