Steppin' Out is Ashley Faatoalia's debut album. Produced by John Bisharat for Din Music, this collection of Jazz standards and vocal tunes features the musical styling of Matt Harris, Trey Henry and Ray Brinker. Guest artists include: Songa Lee, Wayne Bergeron, Brandon Fields and more. From the simplistic to the sublime Ashley's vocals soar over each song employing a vast array of styles. Songs like Summertime and Good Morning Heartache find new life with lush orchestrations, heartfelt arrangements, and Ashley's powerful and emotional vocals, while songs like Beyond The Sea, Let's Do It, and Steppin' Out With My Baby bring big-band back to life with snappy arrangements, stellar instrumentals, and Ashley's exciting interpretations. Steppin' Out also features contemporary songs like, All Is Fair In Love, and the original composition, Unknown Love co-written by Ashley and John Bisharat.
