Ashlin Halfnight is a singer/songwriter originally from Toronto, Canada. He released Loose Ends in December of 1999 and made his GP Records debut in January of 2001 with his first full-length album, At the Hot Gates. Loose Ends was met with critical acclaim in the New Haven area where Halfnight was living and playing professional hockey from 1997 to 1999. His performances and interviews were featured on Fox Channel 8, Channel 61 and the New England Sports Network (NESN). His album was reviewed in the New Haven Register and the New Haven Advocate and the limited edition five-song compact disc sold out in less than five months. Halfnight donated all proceeds from the album to the Saint Francis Home for Children in New Haven, a residence for troubled and abused children.
