Album Notes

Zach Ashton’s fourth release Just Like Beautiful is a blend of pop with a bit of European influence. Most of the songs were composed while Zach was living in a small apartment in Berlin. The songs evoke a feeling of nostalgia, not only for memory, but of place and time. Once again Ashton enlisted the talents of Brazilian producer Sergio Soffiatti. Recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the summer of 2007, Just Like Beautiful is testament to Zach Ashton’s devotion to his song-craft. Artists in the vein of David Gray, Sting and Coldplay come to mind, though this is distinctively "Zach Ashton"
