Album Notes

This is by far my best selling CD and most stirring emotionally. It was a great privilege to have the assistance of a great group of musicians. At the time of this CD I was part of the band ASIAM who included Matthew Perryman Jones who has gone on to write some great songs in Nashville, David an incredible drummer, and Doug Baer the best bass player I have ever heard and played with. In addition to these guys Mike Rogers who has talent on loan from God, produced the CD and we had the awesome privilege of having Joe Funderburk from Nashville engineer the project. The songs are all very emotional and thought provoking. From Footsteps about a young sexually abused child to In a Broken World about finding hope in a world that’s broken. There are three songs written by Matthew Perryman Jones who has an incredible gift of language and words. You’ll want to especially listen to Silence. It’s interesting that even though the CD is somewhat dark it has brought encouragement to a lot of people. It’s funny how that works.
