Abbi Spinner McBride is a High Priestess of the Family of Fire, a skilled fire-circle faciliatator, and a clear channel for the Muse.... Her songs are sung at fire circles around the world, and are known for creating and enthusing a unified group mind. Spinner believes that through music, magic, mystery and fire, all things are possible, and all dreams are within our reach. When she's not creating or performing original music, she is practicing the kora, bellydance, magic and meditation.
Fire of Creation is Spinner's second CD, following on the hugely successful Enter the Center. This new album represents the continuing evolution of her musical
work, weaving piano, synthesizer, tabla, and a variety of other percussion instruments into a rich sonic tapestry.
Spinner hopes this music will inspire you to come and join in the magic of the fire circle at one of the Vegas Vortex events. Learn more at

more luscious musical moments

I adore some of the songs that came out on this album: Die & Be Re-Born, and the angel invocation with Surrounded by Light. Abbi's arrangement of Gate Gate is a meditational favorite. Again, this album is a great way to invoke the energy from the Vegas Vortex fires and beyond.

I had heard Abbi's music coming out of the voices of friends and new I would enjoy these cd's before I ever got them. The wonderful thing is the music creates sacred space just by listening to it. Thanks Abbi, Jeff and all the rest of the Family of Fire!

Warm memories!

The first I heard of Abby McBride was at my first Fire Circle last year.... the CD was discovered many months later, and now playing it in the car is a warm, wonderful, powerful flashback to those long nights at the fire. This would have definitely been a 5-star review, but I personally do not care for the angel-music, nor those songs that name gods/goddesses of traditions I do not share... so, regretably, only about half of the CD is of use to me. Nonetheless, it's a wonderful half!!!
