Album Notes

The Bright Ones is the fifth album from Asmodeus X. Recorded over a period of a year at Fjardesson studios with Al Rutter and 2 years in post-production and Mastered by Alien Implant, cover design by Komodokat. The Bright Ones is without a doubt the most in-depth of Asmo's various cosmo-daimonic explorations. Featuring keys and loops from Vasquez (Seasons Without End,) the persussives and backing vox of Joel 313 (Fallen Angel), lyrics from Stephen Rudolph (Grosser Haus) the voices of Fredric, the melodies of Marshal, and even the resurrected guitar wailings of Frank Faust (The Tiger), it is also the most comprehensive work to date, featuring the broadest collection of contributions from members past and present (and possibly even future); and incorporating the complimentary themes of previous releases. The Bright Ones hints at the smooth ebm coldness of Morningstar and sheds new light on the space-opera techno samplings of Sanctuary. This is the one Asmo album to rule them all and in the darkness, bind them.
