Attack Ships On Fire is a powerhouse of Northwest talent that blends feverish guitar riffs with a passionate vocal style to create a unique and blazingly fresh sound. Their self-styled “aggressive Indie rock” follows the philosophy of the “DIY” predecessors of 70s punk mixed with the intelligent sensibility of an experienced and roadworthy band.

Mike Bell is a seasoned vocalist, with a wide range of abilities. Bringing to Attack Ships on Fire the fervor and technique Mike Patton and the passion of Henry Rollins, Mike has carved his own style into this unique combo. Mike remains the primary lyric writer, exploring topics that range from reality television, one night stands, to friendship betrayal.

The Tokyo Terror! Shigeru Naka comes to us from the land of the rising sun with wicked guitar skills and awesome stage presence. His energetic and aggressive style is the perfect compliment to the frenetic ASOF sound.

Hailing from Cali’s south bay area, six-string bassist Naiya Cominos honed her performance skills touring with various bands, including The Daddies, Puzzlefish, Estradasphere, and her own Death Metal Cheerleaders, before joining forces with ASOF in 2006. Her unique playing style and formidable chops are an ideal addition to ASOF’s hard-hitting rhythm section.

Allan Carter, a Baltimore native and Oregon transplant, started playing drums at the age of 6 at the urging of Benny Goodman. From 2001 until 2004 Allan played with several popular Baltimore bands before forming Groove Syndicate, a 70s style, old school, funk band. 2005 finds Allan living in Oregon and pursuing the aggressive side of his drumming with ASOF.
