ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Though five years behind the release of “Revelations,” the follow-up “Galaxy Prisoner wasn’t exactly five years in the making. The title track was conceived of in 1997 and seemed a kind of a cool theme around which to build an album. The focus eventually shifted more to being lost or trapped and how we would deal with this rather than a more “space themed” album that would probably just end up sounding silly.

As mentioned, songs date as far back as 1997, but the bulk of the material was written within the last three years, most notably the lyrics which were all written within the last year.

Production began in January and finished in July. Mixing and mastering was completed at the start of August. This was a much faster pace than the previous album and will hopefully set the tone for future albums. Material for the next album is already semi-complete and now that I’ve gotten a pretty good workflow, the next album should be out sometime next year, but of course now that I’ve said that, it’ll never happen.

I hope you enjoy it!
