Album Notes

Established in Maui, Hawaii in 1998, the ASSAULT SQUAD RIDERZ aka “A.S.R” have played an instrumental role in the Hawaii state underground music scene. For nearly a decade strong, the ASSAULT SQUAD RIDERZ have been touring locally bringing their unique style of hip-hop music to the islands. Both their freshman album titled “The Arrival” and their current and newly released full length album titled “FROM THE ROCK 2 THE BLOCK,” were released independently under the groups self-made record label/production company Foreela entertainment (Us). They have also been featured on the locally made movie sound tracks “DIVERS” and “HO’OKIPA.”
Revered by fans and critics alike, the ASSAULT SQUAD RIDERZ continue to create and produce their own brand of original hip hop music. These three individuals come from diversely different backgrounds but all share one thing in common; their love and passion for hip-hop, all of its elements, and music in general. Through out the years the ASSAULT SQUAD RIDERZ have been committed to sharing their music with everyone, even while raising families and working, to see their dreams for success in the music industry come to light.
