They are maybe categorised as American folk music, but I don't think so because the main performer plays the Irish style violin, the piano that has the nice harmonic rhythm is as a rock piano, and the drum creates a jazzy mood. Their music what is also like minimal music tell us the width of the their field. It is so beautiful music that free from demarcation, and gets across any music genres.
Especially "Steampacket" is fair. I that listen it on the net radio got down into the music, I decided to buy their album. Their multi style music could reach me as a Japanese.
