Asshole Holocaust is a shadowy doom and grindcore collective from New York City. Several of its members have been killed when they tried to quit the band, although I suppose technically they got what they wanted, since they’re not in the band anymore. At least one member of the group is noted NYC pest Green Andy, and the lyrics are written by someone known only as Mario. THE GARBAGE STATE is a concept album about the insidious and toxic effects of New Jersey on the cultural identity of America. Asshole Holocaust pull no punches in correctly placing the blame for the current state of the world on New Jersey, where it belongs. All of the music was written and recorded with one arm tied behind each of the members’ backs. Track 5 is actually about you.
