Laurie Miller plays bass, vocals, songwriter, guitar, and keyboards. Plays 4 string, 5 string and NS acoustic/ electric bass. Has two CDs out.
Recorded on Malfunkshun's soundtrack (Andy Wood's documentary,'Mother Love Bone') 2002

features the guitar playing of Randy Hansen, Mac Funk (George Clinton & the P Funk Allstars), and Eddie DeGenaro.
It also features the songs and vocals of Laurie Miller,
along with the rappers UC BOO (from Berkeley),
and Poison of Oakland. It was recorded in the Bay Area,
mixed at Skyline Studios in Oakland, and mastered at
Fantasy.

The songs are unique, and written with a sarcastic
sense of humor. One noted producer said recently that they
were signing bands like this in New York right now.

... Laurie does it down and dirty. This CD is wild and raucus and her heart sings. She's a bad-ass bass player, no doubt, and a darn funny one, too. My fav line is from Small Blue Fish- "Strange things will happen when you're swimming in the dark."
