Album Notes

Julie is currently appearing as Kate Monster in London's West End Production of the Broadway hit AVENUE Q. Julie has already appeared in the London productions of Mamma Mia and Fame.

This album is 12 tracks of the bright new British musical theatre composer, Charles Miller, along New York Lyricist Kevin Hammonds and London lyricist Adam Bard.

"A Girl of Few Words is an exquisite album of songs representing the bright future of British musical theatre. West End Musical Director Kevin Oliver Jones is crafting Charles Miller's songs in a beautiful, contemporary style, and the cherry on the top? - Julie's stunning voice." - Guy James, Executive Producer.

"...The album is a real gem, a little treat for the ears and for the soul." Chris Cox, BBC Radio 1

REVIEWS

A Girl of Few Words

This is a great first album for Julie Atherton. The clarity and expressiveness of the vocals are outstanding. There are overtones of Elaine Paige and Barbra Streisand at times. Instrumental backing is very professional and does not intrude on the vocals at any stage. A thoroughly enjoyable musical experience from a new star.
