Album Notes

"A Time For Praise" is the worship band at Pelham Centre United Church. We are a small rural congregation in the heart of Ontario's Niagara Peninsula. We worship in a beautiful mid nineteenth century building, a diverse congregation of newcomers and old-timers, all ages and life stages. We've done some experimenting to find a style of worship that will enable us to truly offer our praise and glory to God. This recording reflects one aspect of the varied musical diet at Pelham Centre. The genres cross many boundaries including pop, rock, country, reggae, ska, dance, and adult contemporary. It was produced by drummer / worship band leader, Jim Casson. Jim's work has been nominated for Maple Blues Awards, Juno Awards, and Gemini Awards. He has toured throughout North America and Europe and has performed on more than 50 albums. We hope that you will enjoy this CD and find it as inspiring to listen to as it was for us to make.
