Started in the summer of 2002 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Atomic Brothers was conceived to make original jazz and electronic influenced R&B music with a conscious lyrical direction. An album later and one in the works Atomic Brothers continue to try and develop a distinct R&B sound with conscious lyrics and an original horn sound as well as processing and beat experimentation. Their live shows are enjoyed as much at local clubs in Montreal and Toronto as national festival stages, provided free of any pretentiousness that could come along with a conscious vibe.

Damn,
The album that is a trip through time and distance. This band takes a little of all that is great in music, infuses it with some stellar playing and somehow keeps a theme going. Be ready for reggae, hip hop, dance hall, calipso, electronica and more in this excelent party album.

Tantilizing, Tasty, Turn it up!
author: Raoul Lacerta
The first release from the ABros is really a work of art. Well conceived song structures, interesting harmonies, impeccable musicianship, and amazing production. And all this from an independent band with less than two years of existence. Expect to hear a lot more from these cats--they truly are relentless, and surprisingly talented for such a young group. It's refreshing to hear a band play great catchy songs with a strong message in the lyrics, while still able to jam out hard and show off the chops. Great record, boys!
