Atonall " Ancient Melodies " This is a synthpop band from Istanbul that has been around for a few years but has never had any CD's available before. The band put together this CD and another mini-album (Big Time Bomb) so that synthpop fans could start picking up some of their music. The band plays a classic synthpop style with catchy songs, nice vocals that sound maybe a bit like Marc Almond sometimes and Depeche Mode at others. This band has something to contribute to the synthpop scene, and it's nice to have something available now (see www.atonall.com for more information). The artwork on this album is probably the most mysterious I've ever seen-- no title, no tracklist, no information, date, etc...just the band name.
