About Atone and Team Jesus
Born in South Central Los Angeles, CA, A-Tone was raised in every church from Inglewood to Hollywood. He is street educated, church dedicated and anointed by God to be a Weapon of Mass Destruction to the enemy and his kingdom.

Anthouny Russell Bryant found his love for music at an early age. At the age of 5 he walked into New Congregational Baptist Church and heard Rev. Joe E. Collins SR. playing the Hammond B-3 Organ and was mesmerized. And from that moment on, he dedicated himself to learning all he could about the piano and the organ. Remarkably at age six he started to write songs and began to direct the youth choir at his local church. His fame spread quickly. As a child prodigy destined for fame, A-Tone learned to play the flute and trumpet in 3rd grade and continued to dazzle his music instructors throughout his grammar school and middle school years. In the early 80s a phenomenon hit the streets. It was called hip hop and rap. Just like all the other young people across America, A-tone started to rap. With his brother Chuck Boom, he made A TONE with his mouth, thus earning the name A-Tone. He could make anyone dance. Street and battle ready, the Boom Brothers became Dorsey High Schools most dangerous musical force.

Transferring his talent from his mouth to the SP1200 drum machine, A-Tone and the Boom Brothers were sought after by some of the music industries elite, like Diana Ross, Baby face, Teddy Riley, After Seven, Tevin Campbell and many others. While on the road, A-Tone became a prolific song writer, but always kept his love for the Lord in the forefront of his career and life.

He answered his call to the ministry while still touring the world with Diana Ross in 1995. One day while attending a local basketball game, A-Tone realized something. The people were cheering louder at the game than they did at church. So he thought to himself that Church should be like this, and thus started the singing group, TEAM JESUS a youth movement. The world had never seen Gospel Praise and Worship mixed with the enthusiasm of a sports game.

Burning CDs on his home computer and selling them out of the trunk of his car, A-tone soon became, one of Los Angeless most sought after youth worship leaders. He has blazed the trail for so many artists that we have grown to love over the last few years.

So who is this man behind the ministry, in front of the pack, backed by God and all the angels in heaven, bridging the gap between hip hop and gospel, and taking the good news of Jesus Christ to the streets? It could be no one but

A-Tone Bryant

IF YA NOT READY YOU BETTA GET READY CUZ IM ALREADY READY TO PRAISE HIM, RAISE HIM UP HIGH. JESUS SAID IF I BE LIFTED UP I WILL DRAW ALL MEN TO ME, SO LET THE PRAISE BEGIN. . .
