The second release of Twin Cities, MN based singer/songwriter Eddie Bryant. The album was released under the name Atreyu's Quest, and Eddie performed for 2 years in a duo by the same name.
Eddie Bryant calls his brand of progressive, rhythmic acoustic music "urban folk". He arrives at this genre by blending the keen, clever songwriting of contemporary folk with the infectious grooves of the inner city. He is an award winning songwriter, a mesmerising guitarist, and a passionate vocalist.
Eddie inherited his first guitar when he was 13, and hasn't put it down since. Audiences are often spellbound by Eddie's relationship with his guitar. He uses it as much for percussion as for harmony, weaving in and out of grooves that are sure to keep the laziest of feet tapping along.
He began writing and performing his own songs in 1995. After the release of his 1997 debut, Transcending the Innocence, Eddie studied voice and guitar at New York University. He then took a job for a year as the guitarist in a Latin band, but soon found himself longing to return to his singer/songwriter roots. Subsiquently, Eddie started his own record label, Falkor Records, and released Juxtaposition (2001) under the band name Atreyu's Quest in anticipation of meeting up with an old friend and bandmate in Minneapolis.
Atreyu's Quest performed for a year and a half in and around Minnesota. They were voted as finalists in the Heart and Soul Best New Twin Cities Band Contest in 2002.
Today Eddie is back on his own, performing at colleges, cafes, bars, and theaters around the Midwest. He performs with a style that's polished yet improvisational, and littered with social commentary and tragi-comical personal narratives. His vocals are warm and driven, his poetry is clever and personal, and his performance is truly inspiring and unforgettable.

Eddie Bryant has known me all his life, and I've known him through the jist of mine. I have watched his music transform from great to magnificent. His music has matured a ton. I would really recommend listening and even buying his 2 cds that he has out so far. You may be thinking well...I don't usually listen to this kind of music. But let me tell you, as a teenager, I'm more into rap and R&B. But Eddie Bryant's music is a little bit of everything...Urban Folk. If you listen to both cds, you'll see a huge change in Bryant's voice but the music will still be excellent. Support Eddie Bryant and buy the cds...you got my promise you won't regret it!!!
